There's no such thing as writer's block

...or is there?  Fact is, I've not been able to detach myself from the coffee shop for any meaningful stretch of time to blog since returning from my cultural exchange to Argentina in mid-November.  Not that it's been particularly busy (except maybe during the festive period and recently-concluded school holidays), but with some of my workers either exhausting their annual leave or off on their jollies, I've had to stand in for them and hence spend more hands-on time at the shop of late.

On those rare, rare occasions when I do have the luxury of an hour or two away from the daily "grind" (mind the pun) to blog, all I find on my computer are cold, unfeeling keys staring back at me... uncooperative... mocking me.

Maybe my mind is just too preoccupied with the shop at the moment; I don't know.  Maybe that's just an excuse.  Maybe there is such a thing as writer's block after all.  Then again, maybe that's just self-consolation.  But with Chinese New Year preps coming up, I can only imagine myself having even less time to spend on my blog between now and then.

I humbly ask that you bare with me; I promise I'll be back writing soon.  Gimme a few weeks.  I'm generally a spontaneous kind of writer; rest assured when something interesting and/or meaningful comes to mind, you'll be the first to read about it.

In the meantime, I wish each and everyone of you a good 2015.  Keep following me and spread the love of my site to your family and friends.  By the way, I'm now on Instagram (@vince.quek).  Do follow.
