Hola, I´m back again! As you know, the Big Blog Exchange 2014 is very diversely-represented by 16 winners from 16 very different cultures. One of the few challenges set by the organiser, Hostelling International was for us (the winners) to each submit a favourite landscape photo shot in our respective host country during the exchange for them to compile and share for the world to see the diverse beauty of each exchange destination from the winners' perspectives. This was my submission.
To be honest, this picture (shot somewhere in northern Patagonia) was taken through the window of a moving bus as I was travelling from Mendoza in centreal western Argentina to the resort town of San Carlos de Bariloche, 1225km to the south. So as you can imagine, it was pretty much hit-or-miss; there was no second chance. How I managed to nail it is beyond me to this day.
Northern Patagonia with her Nahuel Huapi National Park is a place of amazing beauty - pristine and breathtakingly scenic. As I write now from Buenos Aires, I feel I've left a part of me in Patagnonia; no doubt I shall one day return to seek what I'd left behind.
If you wish to see my other 15 fellow winners´ photo submissions, visit the Big Blog Exchange website by clicking HERE. For now, chao.
